1/23/2009 - First Responder Event January 2009 The week of January 19th ID Group hosted a two day event for some of our First Responder customers. These included the Southwest Regional Response Team, Meridian Regional Response Team, Columbus Fire and Rescue, and Mississippi Fire Academy. Salamander assisted in training these customers and employees on current software for their computers and handheld devices. During the training session, another Salamander representative upgraded the customer’s PC and handheld devices with the assistance of IDG technicians. This service is only available for our Emergency   Management Agencies. ID Group is currently promoting the FRACS cards as the standard of First Responder credentials. ID Group sees the necessity to have a product tailored specifically for the Salamander application.
