10/2/2008 - BadgePass Makes Times-Picayune News ID Group made “The Times–Picayune” this month. The article by Kia Hall Hayes highlights the installation of our new BadgePass Visitor Manager software and how it is being used as an effort to beef up security for all St. Tammany Parish public schools. The article continues to explain the features they have available, including a direct link to National Registry of Sex Offenders. Hayes informs readers that vital information such as Social Security numbers will not be stored in their database. The school district also approved the installation of video cameras in each school to further enhance their security.  Officials decided that it’s an appropriate countermeasure to the rape and molestation case between pupils and a custodian at Slidell Elementary School. In addition to this story, a television spot aired October 2nd demonstrating the process our software  at Cypress Cove Elementary.
